INDONESIAN police said on Wednesday that a suspected suicide bomber and a police officer were killed in explosions near a bus station in the eastern part of the capital, Jakarta.
"There were two blasts at around 9pm (1400 GMT), close to each other," East Jakarta police chief Andry Wibowo told TV station MetroTV. "From the damage I can see the explosions were pretty big," referring to the Kampung Melayu terminal, which is served by mini-vans and buses.
