WITH all dormitories declared Covid-cleared on Tuesday, it is hoped that the ordeals suffered by many foreign workers will be alleviated as they gradually emerge from prolonged periods of lockdown and confusion.
Singaporeans cheered when the nation exited a partial lockdown on June 2. But for most of the 323,000 migrant workers housed in dormitories here, the lockdown never ended.
