THE European elections that took place on Thursday will indicate the extent to which nations are swinging to the populist right that could disrupt the European Union's (EU) political economy.
So far, polls indicate the extreme and ultra-right wing parties could win at least a third of the European Parliament that comprises 751 members. The fear is that these Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) could hinder European economic growth.
