BRITISH Prime Minister Boris Johnson is on the ropes as the fallout from a "lockdown partygate" scandal and he desperately needs Tory Members of Parliament (MPs) to help him cling on to power.
The omens are not that good, however. Despite having the backing from some Cabinet ministers, several key Conservative MPs have publicly denounced Johnson.
