ASIA-PACIFIC leaders, including Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and United States President Barack Obama, on Thursday issued a strong statement to condemn "all acts" of terrorism.
In a rare break from tradition, the leaders of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) grouping chose to insert a paragraph in their joint declaration - issued at the end of their two-day meeting in Manila - to stress the importance of regional cooperation to enhance security and counter violent extremism.
