AN INAUGURAL study commissioned by the Ministry of Law has shown that almost three in four people, or 74 per cent, who turn to dispute resolution will opt for arbitration as their preferred method of reaching an agreement. This compares to half for international commercial litigation, and 26 per cent for international commercial mediation.
When it comes to users' satisfaction with cost and speed, however, mediation fared best.
