AS daily living costs soar amid slumping commodity prices, a feeble currency, and weak business and consumer sentiment, crafting Malaysia's Budget 2016 to the satisfaction of the common man will be arduous.
Add to the economic mix the controversial goings-on involving state-owned 1MDB and Prime Minister Najib Razak and the national budget to be tabled in Parliament next Friday could also prove awkward.
