HAVING brought the Covid-19 pandemic under control, Indonesia is poised for strong economic growth in the final quarter of the year on the back of improved investor confidence and resurgent consumer spending.
Heading into 2022, however, economists warn that the emergence of the new Omicron variant of the Covid-19 virus could mean that growth will likely be impacted if the government is forced to implement tighter restrictions or another lockdown.
