    AS Indonesia readies itself to confront the ongoing threat of the Omicron variant, all eyes are on the economic outlook for 2022 with the country's business community expecting a return to stronger growth in the next 12 months.

    Bank Indonesia (BI) has projected economic growth in 2022 to fall between 4.7 per cent and 5.5 per cent for South-east Asia's largest economy, up from 3.2-4 per cent in 2021.
