Malaysia’s August CPI rises 1.9% on-year, slightly lower than forecast
MALAYSIA’S consumer price index (CPI) rose 1.9 per cent in August from a year earlier, slightly less than forecast, government data showed on Monday (Sep 23).
Economists surveyed by Reuters had expected the index to rise 2 per cent in August, matching the pace of the previous three months. REUTERS
