Malaysia’s current account surplus widens to RM12.2 billion in Q3
[KUALA LUMPUR] Malaysia’s current account surplus widened to RM12.2 billion (S$3.8 billion) in the third quarter of 2025, compared to RM300 million in the previous three months, central bank and government data showed on Friday.
Portfolio investment saw a net outflow of RM28 billion (S$8.6 billion) in the July-to-September period, compared to a net inflow of RM16.4 billion in the second quarter. REUTERS
