Malaysia’s Tenaga Nasional appoints new CEO
MALAYSIA’S largest electricity utility, Tenaga Nasional, on Thursday (Dec 14) named insider Megat Jalaluddin Bin Megat Hassan as its new chief executive officer for a period of two years with effect from Mar 1.
Hassan, who will succeed Baharin bin Din, has been with Tenaga since 2009 and is currently the chief operating officer.
Baharin bin Din, who has been the CEO since March 2021, is leaving the company on completion of his tenure, it said.
Sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional is the biggest shareholder of Tenaga. REUTERS
