Thai consumer confidence hits 28-month low in June
[BANGKOK] Thai consumer confidence dropped for a fifth consecutive month in June, falling to its lowest level in 28 months, due to concerns over steep US tariffs and political stability, a survey showed on Wednesday.
The consumer index of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce fell to 52.7 in June from 54.2 the previous month, the university said in a statement. REUTERS
