Thai consumer confidence rises for first time in 8 months in October
THAI consumer confidence rose for the first time in eight months in October, helped by government economic measures, an interest rate cut and improved economic conditions, a survey showed on Thursday.
The consumer index of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce increased to 56.0 in October from 55.3 in the previous month, the university said in a statement. REUTERS
