THAILAND expects to pass a law that will legalise casinos during the current government’s term and sees Singapore as a model it will emulate, a deputy finance minister said on Friday.
Thailand expects to earn more revenue than neighbouring countries that operate casinos and will also introduce a ‘sin tax’ that will be used for social benefits, Julapun Amornvivat told reporters. REUTERS
