Thailand has no limit on number of virtual bank licenses: deputy finance minister
THAILAND is not limiting the number of virtual bank permits that will be issued, a deputy finance minister said on Monday.
Any group that qualifies would be granted a license, minister Paopoom Rojanasakul said, urging the central bank to make its assessment ahead of the six-month time-frame. There were five applicants for the licenses last week, with approvals to be announced in the middle of next year. REUTERS
