Thailand records 10.3% y/y jump in foreign tourist arrivals so far in 2025

THAILAND’S foreign tourist arrivals from Jan 1 to Feb 23 were 10.3 per cent higher than in the same period a year earlier, the Tourism Ministry said.
There were 6.35 million foreign tourist arrivals in the period, including 988,451 from China, the ministry said in a statement issued on Tuesday.
The National Economic and Social Development Council last week projected 38 million foreign tourists in 2025.
In 2019, before the pandemic, visitor numbers reached a record of nearly 40 million. REUTERS
