Vietnam 2022 trade surplus at US$12.4b

    VIETNAM registered a trade surplus of US$12.4 billion in 2022, government customs data released on Monday (Jan 9) showed.

    Exports last year rose 10.5 per cent to US$371.3 billion, while imports were up 7.8 per cent at US$358.9 billion, the Customs Department said in a report.

    In December, exports stayed flat month on month at US$29.03 billion, while imports fell 3.5 per cent to US$27.29 billion. REUTERS
