[SYDNEY] Australia's central bank left its cash rate unchanged at a record low of 2 per cent on Tuesday amid signs the economy is steadily shaking off the worst of a once-in-a-century mining downturn.
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) made the announcement following its monthly policy meeting. A Reuters poll of 41 analysts had found all expected no move this week.
