Bank Negara Malaysia reserves slightly up at US$98.9b as of June 30

[KUALA LUMPUR] Malaysia's gross international reserves rose to 425.395 billion ringgit US$98.9 billion as of June 30, from US$98.7 billion on June 15, the central bank said on Friday.
Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) said reserves were sufficient to finance 7.9 months of retained imports and were 1.1 times the short-term external debt.
