Bill tabled to consolidate IP disputes in High Court

A BILL read in Parliament on Monday will streamline the intellectual property (IP) dispute resolution process here by consolidating most civil IP disputes in the High Court.

Small- and medium-sized enterprises concerned about managing the cost of High Court proceedings, however, can look forward to a complementary, lower-cost High Court pathway to be introduced separately from this bill, at a later time.
