Brexit impact flowing through to S'pore PMI

July Nikkei PMi at 50.7, down 1.6 from June; economists say uncertainty over divorce terms continues to be a drag

    IN what could possibly be an early sign of how the United Kingdom's vote to leave the European Union, or "Brexit", may impact Singapore, an indicator of private-sector health showed that conditions here had only improved slightly in July from a month before.

    July's Nikkei purchasing managers' index (PMI) was at 50.7, down 1.6 from 52.3 in June.
