Calls for unified Parliament and referendum to avoid hard, no-deal Brexit
London
BRITISH Prime Minister Theresa May's Cabinet believes that her deal with the European Union (EU) will fail to be passed by Parliament, following her unsuccessful trip to Brussels.
Some, such as Amber Rudd, Work and Pensions Secretary, have joined Church of England Bishops and business people and are calling for unity in Parliament to avoid a no deal Brexit. Others are joining former premier Tony Blair and are seeking a second referendum to give people a choice on whether to remain in the EU or leave.
