SHE has pledged to unite Hongkongers, but is reluctant to address one of the biggest sources of the city's divisiveness: political reform.
In doing so, Hong Kong's new Chief Executive-elect Carrie Lam will find it hard to mend rifts in a society that appears to have grown increasingly polarised since the 2014 pro-democracy mass protests.
