INFLATION in China remained unchanged last month with signs deflationary pressures are easing, as the economy stabilises. Nonetheless, economists say more stimulus measures are on the way in the coming months, as the government looks to shore up growth.
China's consumer price index (CPI) remained unchanged in March with prices rising 2.3 per cent year on year, mainly led by inflation of food products. Food prices were up 7.3 per cent year on year on the back of a sharp rise in pork prices, up 28.4 per cent .
