[BEIJING] China's industrial profits in September edged up 0.4 per cent from a year earlier, reversing a 0.6 per cent annual decline in August, data showed on Tuesday.
Profits rose 7.9 per cent in the first nine months of 2014 compared with the same period last year, the National Bureau of Statistics said.
Earlier data showed China's annual economic growth slowed to 7.3 per cent in the third quarter, the weakest pace since the depths of the global financial crisis, and down from 7.5 per cent in the previous quarter.
