China's economy grew at its slowest growth rate in nearly three decades in 2019, with the trade war hampering exports and consumer sentiment.
China's GDP rose by 6.1 per cent last year, in line with expectations and on the bottom end of the government's target. In the last quarter of the year, the world's second largest economy expanded by 6 per cent, the same as in the third quarter.
