China's January trade figures continue shrinking
But trade surplus will go some way to helping its central bank deal with capital flight

CHINA'S trade continued to contract in January, amid tepid demand both inside and outside the country.
Exports fell 11.2 per cent in dollar terms to US$177.5 billion last month, while imports dropped a sharp 18.8 per cent to US$114.2 billion.
