China's manufacturing sector continues to grow

CHINA'S vast manufacturing sector grew last month led by both demand and supply as the world's second largest economy gradually returns to normal following a record contraction due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the first months of the year.
The official manufacturing Purchasing Manager's Index (PMI) for the month of September came in at 51.5 as compared to 51.0 in August, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
