China's October PMI confirms solid rebound

CHINA'S manufacturing sector powered on in October as the world's second-largest economy braces for a full economic recovery.

The country's official Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), which came in over the weekend, expanded for the eighth consecutive month to 51.4 in October, figures published over the weekend showed.
