China's Q3 growth holds steady at 6.8%

CHINA'S economy continued to expand at a steady rate over the third quarter, supported by strong data for the month of September.
The country's gross domestic product (GDP) grew 6.8 per cent in the three months to September, slowing slightly from the 6.9 per cent recorded in the second quarter as efforts to dampen the property sector and deleverage company debt filtered through to the real economy.
