BUSINESS corporations are enjoying lower tax bills while individuals are having to bear an increasingly large share of the total tax burden in many countries, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) said in a hard hitting report on Thursday.

Corporate tax revenues have been falling across OECD countries since the global economic crisis of 2008, putting greater pressure on individual taxpayers to ensure that governments meet financing requirements, according to new data from the OECD's annual Revenue Statistics publication.
