Companies in region cite China slowdown as main worry

CHINA's economic slowdown weighed heavily on the minds of Singapore and regional firms, dragging down business sentiment in the near future to new lows.
Results of a Thomson Reuters/INSEAD survey released on Wednesday showed that sentiment at some of Asia's biggest firms deteriorated in the fourth quarter this year to 58, marking a four-year low. A reading over 50 indicates a positive view. Sentiment was at 60 in Q3 2015, and 72 a year before.
