HE had moved to Hong Kong in 2006 as a corporate sales director of a Singapore telecommunications company, but Stanley Tee harboured other aspirations.
Searching for a business opportunity that would be "less susceptible to market changes", the Singaporean settled on hairdressing and opened his first hair salon in 2009 offering quick, cheap cuts as a side venture while still working at his day job.
