    Sembcorp inks 25-year deal for one of Singapore's largest rooftop solar farms

    Sembcorp Industries has signed an agreement to install, own and operate solar panels atop two Singapore facilities owned by one of the world's largest providers of products and services to the energy industry in a 25-year deal, it announced on the Singapore Exchange on Friday.

    China Everbright Water bags 1.05b yuan water treatment contracts with Shandong government

    Mainboard-listed China Everbright Water has bagged some 1.05 billion yuan (S$208.03 million) in contracts with government authorities in Zibo City, Shandong province for multiple relocation, expansion and upgrading projects of its existing waste water treatment plants.

    Shangri-La Asia sells S$825m 7-year bonds at 4.50%

    Shangri-La Asia has sold an S$825 million seven-year bond at 4.50 per cent, in one of the largest non-bank deals in years. The bonds which are guaranteed were priced lower than the inital price guidance of 4.625 per cent area.

    Singapore shares jump 1.8% on Friday

    Singapore shares closed higher on Friday, with the Straits Times Index up 55.54 points or 1.8 per cent to 3,116.39. About 2.56 billion shares worth S$1.55 billion in total changed hands, which worked out to an average unit price of S$0.60 per share.
