Digitalisation key for retail sector to emerge stronger

    UNABLE to assemble their franchise partners to do a showcase of their upcoming season collections in-person due to Covid-19, Charles & Keith decided that going online was the next best thing.

    "We used to get buyers from our franchise partners to come down to our office in Singapore, where we have a runway and mock-up showrooms. Our merchandise people, designers and models could mingle and the designer could talk about why this product will sell in a particular market or why this particular design is on point for this season," said Charles & Keith's assistant general manager (expansion) Brandon Ong.
