DEPUTY Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean has shed more light on why he decided to set up and chair a ministerial committee to study the options for the Oxley Road house that belonged to the late former prime minister Lee Kuan Yew.
He said the Cabinet "cannot avoid taking responsibility" for making the required decisions on matters where the public interest is involved, and where due process is required.
