DPM Tharman to attend G-20 meeting in Chengdu

SINGAPORE Deputy Prime Minister & Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam will be attending the G-20 finance ministers' and central bank governors' meeting in Chengdu, China on July 23-24.
The G-20 meeting will discuss policies to enhance economic resilience amid new global uncertainties.
Mr Tharman will also be a speaker at the G-20 high-level tax symposium on July 23.
The symposium will cover the design of tax policies to support innovation-driven and inclusive growth, and to enhance tax certainty for businesses in the digital economy.
He will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
