THE late prime minister Lee Kuan Yew's daughter described Law Minister K Shanmugam's view on conflicts of interest "absurd and unethical". In a post on her Facebook timeline on Sunday, she pointed out that she and Mr Shanmugam were "once very good friends and each had helped the other a great deal". "It is sad to see how he has changed," she wrote.
Dr Lee Wei Ling's post was in reaction to Mr Shanmugam's comments that he has no conflict of interest with regard to his inclusion in a ministerial committee to explore options for the late Mr Lee's residence at Oxley Road.
