European and Asean business leaders suggest ways to move AEC agenda along
European business leaders also call for more engagement with private sector to meet Asean single-market goals
Singapore
EUROPEAN business leaders are urging Asean member states to be more active in incorporating visions for the roll-out of the Asean Economic Community (AEC) in their respective legislatures, and to set up proper mechanisms to that end.
These business leaders are also putting the spotlight on the private sector, so the businesses from this sector can be helped to reap the benefits when the single market for the flow of goods and services, capital and labour in Asean takes off.
