Eurozone consumer confidence falls to -17.8 in September
Eurozone consumer confidence fell by 1.8 points in September from the August number, figures released on Thursday (Sep 21) showed.
The European Commission said a flash estimate showed eurozone consumer morale decreased to -17.8 this month from -16.0 in August.
Economists polled by Reuters had expected a fall to -16.5.
In the European Union as a whole, consumer sentiment fell by 1.6 points to -18.7. REUTERS
