Experts: Trump will lean on Japanese firms to put America first

TOYOTA Motor Corp has promised to spend US$10 billion in US capital investments over the next five years, after being blasted by US president-elect Donald Trump for its plan to export cars from Mexico to the US.
Observers say, however, that the move by the leading motor manufacturer is unlikely to take the heat off Japanese firms to fall in line with Mr Trump's "America-first" policy.
