Finance Minister Lawrence Wong appointed to MAS board; Ong Ye Kung to step down

MINISTER of Finance Lawrence Wong has been appointed deputy chairman of the board of directors in the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), in a slew of changes announced on Friday.
His appointment to the board will be for a term of three years from June 1, 2021, to May 31, 2024, along with Deborah Ong, who recently retired as a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore.
