THE Group of Seven (G-7) advanced nations has been seen as having reasserted its global leadership on Friday at the end of a summit in Ise-Shima in central Japan, during which the heads of seven nations pledged to address major global economic and political challenges.
In their summit declaration, they said that global growth remained moderate and below potential amid risks of weak growth, even as geo-political conflicts, terrorism and refugee flows were complicating the global economic environment.
