GE2015: No surprises in Fengshan and Pasir Ris-Punggol

[SINGAPORE] There were no surprises for Fengshan and Pasir Ris-Punggol. The People's Action Party (PAP) stuck to their candidates named earlier in both wards. The opposition candidates turned up as expected.

So, baring any last minute objection, PAP's Cheryl Chan will contest Workers' Party's (WP's) Dennis Tan at Fengshan.

At the Pasir-Ris Punggol GRC, PAP's incumbent team led by Teo Chee Hean will face the Singapore Democratic Alliance (SDA) candidates under Desmond Lim.

The rest of the PAP candidates at Pasir Ris-Punggol are Teo Ser Luck, Zainal Sapari, Janil Puthucheary, Ng Chee Meng and Sun Xueling.

The other SDA team members, introduced only on Monday night, are Ong Teik Seng, Wong Way Weng, Abu Mohamed and Arthero Lim.
