[BERLIN] German economy minister Robert Habeck is replacing six out of the ministry's 11 departmental chiefs, reported newspaper Bild on Saturday, quoting ministry sources.
Only the heads of department for economic policy, European policy, and small- and medium-sized enterprise policy will keep their positions, the newspaper reported.
Bild said Habeck's predecessor Peter Altmaier, of the conservative Christian Democratic Union, had replaced only two heads of department.
On Friday, Spiegel reported that Habeck, the Greens' first economy minister, would tweak the format of Germany's annual economic report to reduce the weight given to gross domestic product as a measure of prosperity.
