Global M&A scene to stay strong in 2017: JP Morgan
This year's deal volumes are expected to be consistent with last year's US$3.9 trillion

DESPITE the many talked-about challenges plaguing the global mergers and acquisitions (M&A) market last year, deal volumes reached US$3.9 trillion - bringing them in line with the third best year on record.
And JP Morgan's M&A team expects 2017 volumes to be consistent with 2016's solid performance.
