Japan’s August jobless rate flat at 2.7%
JAPAN’S jobless rate stayed flat at 2.7 per cent in August from the previous month, government data showed on Friday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate compared with economists’ median forecast of 2.6 per cent in a Reuters poll.
The jobs-to-applicants ratio was also unchanged at 1.29 in August and matched the median forecast, separate labour ministry data showed. REUTERS
