AS most Asian countries reopen their international borders, pandemic-bruised airlines are raising their capacity, with some ramping up flights faster than others.

From the data furnished by Cirium, China Eastern Airlines has recovered the fastest in terms of capacity as the number of scheduled passenger flights for January-June 2022 is only 13 per cent lower than pre-pandemic levels, while Singapore Airlines' is 27 per cent lower. Eva Air is flying only 11 per cent of its pre-pandemic capacity, however.

Go to the individual airline's logo in this interactive graphic and its recovery runway will show up.
