Singapore companies pivot amid shifting sands in the Middle East

ENTERPRISE Singapore may have closed some operations in the Middle East, but thatdoes not necessarily mean a fall in coverage or interest, with 2 remaining locations – in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – still serving the whole region.
Two previous offices in Doha, Qatar and Abu Dhabi, the UAE, are no longer active. But Enterprise SG assistant CEO Tan Soon Kim said: “We regularly review our overseas operations to ensure that the markets covered continue to offer opportunities and relevance for Singapore companies.
“For example, the Dubai overseas centre covers the UAE, Qatar and Oman.”
